4.75 Stars out of 5…. Excellent Food… Need some AC…. Cool Vibe, beautiful area. Smart, Sexy, the better part of just outside of South Beach for sure. The place was small, killer though. The service; amazing. Odered too much food. Stand outs… Dates with Chorizo, Pork Belly, Short Rib Tartar. The rest was all good, Duck Dumplings, Pork Dumplings, Polenta, some a bit rich, but decadent. The wine was great. Can’t wait to go back… they have to do something about the AC. It was so hot, I was sweating, and it’s winter. The open kitchen is amazing… and HOT.. This should be an easy fix and would’ve been a 5 star night, Otherwise, it was def 4.75 stars even with the heat. Can’t wait to go back and try the sushi next door.
Dumplings. There’s not much to be said about this place that hasn’t already been said. It’s great. Just go.We had a seasonal pork belly croquetta the other day that had a pumpkin aioli I would put on EVERYTHING. And the dumplings are always ridiculously good.
Drinks and asian-inspired selections. Love coming here for a McBelly! Pubbelly is easily one of our favorite restaurants in South Beach. miamiculinarytours.com
Single handedly made Miami a foodie city. If you go nowhere else, do nothing else- eat here. It will blow your mind. The food is not fantastic, it is earth shatteringly good. It is better than Momofuku, yeah I said it. Believe it. Every dish is perfectly balanced. The right acidity, sweetness, bitterness, down right deliciousness. I might be ranting and I do not care. The satisfaction after eating each dish was deep and rich. When the meal was finished I felt dizzy and exhausted.HighlightsUmmm everything in its own way but…Dates- First stop on the journey, and the memory is as clear as the last bight of the meal. The crunchy bacon surrounding a warm, squishy candy center, and the yummy sweet yet acidic tomato sauce. This sets a standard that seems unattainable for the rest of the meal, but then the dumplings …Dumplings- Order them. I had the short rib dumplings. They were crispy yet soft and pillowy, with truffle oil…enough said.Polenta- Change your life and eat this. I swear to you -if I died and could only taste one thing forever it would be this. It was orgasmic. I am not exaggerating, I Have chills thinking about it.Ok, done. JUST GO!!!!!one weakness- for balance sake- the buy the glass list could be stronger.
I find this place to be all we were told. We had a great meal just don’t go there if you are in a hurry. Wish they would open one in Michigan
Some of the best things i’ve ever tasted. Living in West Palm Beach, I’m always excited to get down to Miami and try out some new restaurants. Yesterday, I got to check out Pubbelly. First off, our waitress was extremely helpful, pointing out some of her favorites. And let me tell you, the three plates were ordered on her recommendation were phenomenal. The short rib tartare, the short rib and corn (with black truffle) dumplings, and the pork belly were literally some of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. In my life. We also had the dates and the octopus. Both were good, but couldn’t compare to the other three. It is quite expensive, however. And they include the tip in your bill (which I never care for). But I would definitely go back to try some more dishes (and to have some of the short rib and corn rumblings)!
Pubbelly Heaven. Yum yum yum is all I have to say… Cozy, quaint and away from the the hustle and bustle of Lincoln Road this place rocks the SoBe restaurant scene. Cool ambiance; bartender is ever so sweet and knowledgable when it comes to their beer offerings. As with any popular restaurant you can expect a little bit of a wait for food but the servers are attentive enough to keep the drinks and baguettes flowing meanwhile. Definately worth the wait and every penny. Foodie must tries: pork belly and scallion dumplings, kimchee fried rice, mofongo, and green beans.
