Amazing food in an amazing ambiance. The guacamole with chips and salsa is always our starter. We just love how they prepare it fresh and with chunks of avocado. We had two tacos. Shrimp and fish. Both served with rice and beans. The beans are always delicious and we just love devouring it. The waiter was very nice and helpful and the overall experience is always pleasant.
Good Mexican food. Smart restaurant with a lovely vibe and friendly staff. Good service, food arrives shortly after ordering. The complimentary Salsa sauce and Warm tortilla chips when you are just seated is a nice touch.
Ordered guacamole with chips . Chips were fried in smelly oil . Full family got unwell .Guacamole was fresh and nice . Rest of the food was ok .. Not gourmet or anything close to it . For the quality of is overpriced .Our server was a very nice person though .These guys should overhaul their food and being in better quality . I won’t be eating there again .
The South Beach branch of this popular chain of Mexican restaurants is located on Lincoln Road, at the intersection with Alton Road. This is convenient for a quick bite after a movie at the massive multiplex across the road. We sampled some of the margaritas and mojitos from the extensive list – all very good with our complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. For starters, we shared a quesadilla de res – nice, a little spicy, with some salsa verde and sour cream. For mains we went for the enchilada mole poblano – shredded chichen in soft tortillas, covered in a thick chocolate-based sauce – and the alambre de camarones – grilled prawns with tomatoes and onion on a bed of rice and salsa verde. The portions were generous and came with sides of mashed black beans and more rice.The restaurant was rather empty (quite different from my previous experience of the chain in New York), but this meant we had the full attention of our friendly waiter, William. Overall, an experience I’d like to repeat.
Great upscale Mexican. First visit to Rosa Mexicano. This location was at the West end of Lincoln Road Mall on the corner of Lincoln Rd and very busy Alton Rd. You can either street park (but hard to find a space) or park in the LRM garage ($10). Inside is a very contemporary, upscale setting and they also have tables out on the mall. My service was great and although I have seen mixed reviews on the food quality, my food was very good. I had the beer battered fish tacos with pickled cabbage and creama fresca – juicy and flavorful. It comes with Mexican street corn – totally awesome, it is a MUST. The meal also came with rice and refried black beans, and of course, free chips and fresh salsa. I paired the meal with a Mexican craft cerveza, Dead On Arrival IPA, very nice!Great to stroll the mall after a meal. There is also plethora of restaurants in LRM.
I have eaten here twice now and both times the service and the food have been phenomenal! You cannot come here and not try the guacamole! The menu has a great selection without having too much, and the service is always very good! I will be back for a third visit!
