Chef Bernstein does it again!. The newest addition to Miami Beach, located inside the newly renovated Thompson Hotel, Seagrape by Chef Michelle Bernstein is sure to make a buzz. All local produce is used to create this Floridian brasserie. The dining area is open with mid-century style furnishings that complement the architecture of the building. The outdoor area is right next to pool, very relaxing and comfortable, perfect for an intimate evening or conversations with friends. Our servers name was Jesse and he was wonderful, very genuine and friendly. Since the menu was new to me, we decided to have the chef tasting menu to get out of our comfort zone and we were not disappointed. Here are some of the items we got to taste;Spicy Tuna & Hamachi Tartare sesame seeds, scallion salad, rice & prawn crackersCobia CevicheOystersWarm Gougres 10 ( serrano ham, truffle fondue, sherry glaze)Roasted beet salad Stuffed Squash Blossom (shrimp mousseline, corn grits, corn emulsion, aleppo peppers, seafood nage)Warm Forest Mushrooms & Parisian Gnocchi (foraged mushrooms, wilted greens, 64 egg, crispy sage)Lobster ravioliBraised Short-Rib (cornbread foam, brussels sprouts, pickled pearl onions, red wine jus)Whole Crispy Snapper (coconut rice, Thai-style slaw, nam phrik, served head-removed)DessertBerry Angel Food Cake (lemon-grapefruit curd, soft and crisp meringue,micro blossoms, frozen yogurt)Walk in the Woods (dark chocolate semifreddo, pistachio, local citrus,extra virgin olive oil, sea salt)Seagrape is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to visit Chef Bernstein, as always, she wont disappoint you!

Perfection. Fabulous #SundayFunday #Family dinner! Big hugs to Mikaela for introducing us to @ChefMichelleBernstein’s #Seagrape Restaurant on Miami Beach @ #TheThompsonHotel. THANK YOU to Chef Tony for ALL the amazing appetizers (my favorite, Grilled -to perfection- Octopus) and delicious entrees. And to Chef Max, the desserts were over-the-top superb! We also want to commend the friendly and extremely attentive wait staff.
Great brasserie ambiance with creative minds in the kitchen and fresh unique creations on the plate. From the tuna tartar to the white truffle tagliatelle, and everything in between, the plates are a pleasure everyone needs to enjoy. Chef Michelle Bernstein with the assistance of her team and Sous Chef Tony Velazquez seem to be doing all the right things to manage this new eatery that has only just opened its doors two weeks ago. Even through the bustling of Art Basel week, with a filled restaurant, the organization was on point! Definitely take the time to check out Seagrape before the secret of this new gem is out! #prepHARD
