Wonderful experience. This was a very rewarding dining experience. We had veal and ravioli. Both were exquisitely prepared and served. The place is very tastefully furnished with crisp white linens and understated elegance.
Relaxing Romantic. Nice quiet atmosphere in the garden away from the hustle and noise of the south beach scene on Ocean Drive. Good food, nice portions and reasonable prices. This would be one of my regular spots at home.
VERY GOOD ITALIAN FOOD IN A PLEASANT VENUE. Spiga is a very nice small Italian restaurant on Collins Ave. It was a nice evening but unfortunately all the outdoor tables were taken. My wife and I started by sharing the anti pasta for one. I can’t imagine what it would look like for two. It was a plentiful assortment of cheeses, Italian meats and vegetables. Next we shared an appetizer size potion of delicious tagliatelle in a creamy tomato basil sauce. My wife had the veal saltimbocca which while it appeared to be thick, was in fact very tender. I had the braised veal special which was not quite what I expected but was still good. Both entrees came with potato and vegetales.

Great.Experience. Just returned from dinner with my family at Spiga Ristorante and had an incredible meal. One of the group had the Grouper which was prepared with an excellent cream sauce. Others had pasta with salmon or shrimp or chicken and all were outstanding. The pasta was definitely home made and reminded me of pastas I have had on numerous visits to Florence, Italy. The service was friendly and very prompt. The atmosphere was elegant, relaxing and very conducive for conversation which we took well of advantage of after finishing our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for excellent Italian fare combined with an elegant, relaxing atmosphere.
