Awful. Food is expensive. But, worst of all, watch your bill, they will charge your credit card twice. Went in person to try to get money back to my card, still waiting on Manager to get back to me. I am sure, I am not the only one they are stealing money from on their check/bill.
Surprisingly good food!. I live in the same area as this restaurant but never dined there before. Other concierges from the area have told me about it but I dismissed it because it lacked a bit of ambiance and it was not the most attractive restaurant on the beach. I was invited by a fellow coworker to try it and I must admit that the food was splendid! Jacomo the owner is the host, the server, the cook along side with his wife. The brochutto was the best I have ever had, followed by a vodka penne pasta salmone that was extraordinary. My friend had the Chilean sea bass with a side of pasta. Honestly, this was a wonderful meal and it tasted so homemade I will be returning and recommending to my guest. Not much to look at, but real home style Italian cuisine.
Totally underwhelmed by the scenery and food at this restaurant. The service was also very slow considering they only had one server on staff on Valentine’s Day. Definitely won’t return.
Valentino Sul Mar is one of my family’s favorite restaurants in Miami. The owners are a delight and the food is exceptional. In a town with a lot of Italian food, this restaurant is a stand out for classic Sicilian fare. try the chicken parmesan if you are in the mood for a classic….
Great ifresh Ingredients. Expertly prepared. Friendly owner/chef and wife. In a charming beach side location with minimal tragic. Cooked a to-order dish for me.
Valentino Sul Mare- Great Italian food!. I recently had a nice dinner at an Italian Restaurant- Valentino sul mare- like the name says, really ‘sul mare’, it is located right at the ocean of Miami Beach. It began with a flute of spumante to accompany the antipasti plate. We settled on sharing a plate of pasta, Linguine Marinara, a very delightful and extremely Mediterranean plate. The second course was Veal Marsala and my friend chose a Grouper, which was perfectly prepared. The owner of the restaurant explained me that Marsala is a wine produced in the region surrounding the Italian city of Marsala in Sicily, where the owner is originally from. The Veal Marsala was delicious, very tender. Combined with a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio and a perfect atmosphere, we enjoyed it very much. We could hear the ocean while eating and everybody was very friendly there. Excellent service. Perfect for lunch and dinner, when you want to spend a quiet hour eating good food, listening to Italian music and hear the waves of the ocean, while talking with friends. Highly recommended. The restaurant has a huge outside area full with plants and flowers, everywhere candles in the night. I examined the menu; they offer a wide range of traditional Italian plates, creative seafood plates, delicious appetizers, gourmet pizzas, salads, sandwiches and desserts. For dessert we shared a tiramisu, delicately made, with a nice trace of espresso in the ladyfingers. The cost? Very affordable, especially for the area. After a walk on the beach we went home.
