New and better way to do Japanese!!!. My b.f and I had a great dinner last night and so pleased by zen sai! Had so many Japanese cuisine in my life but this is very special fusion Japanese restaurant. Well, to me Japanese is so simple and health food I love but sometimes it seems a bit boring and they have only rolls, sushi (sashimi) and some noodles. But not at zen sai!!!They have very interesting menu. And I loved everything we had.My favorite is seafood waffle. New way of okkonomiyaki and loved the spice although I’m a bit worry it might be too spicy to normal people (yup, I’m not normal who eats raw Jalapeos dipping in Sriracha sauce..lol.)Definitely we’ll be back try the other dishes.

Nouveau Japanese. Excellent meal, terrific service, relaxed casual atmosphere only a few steps off thronging Collins and Ocean Dr.

This is hands down one of the best/if not the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Recommend the whole squid, seafood waffle, spicy shrimp sliders, special fried rice with lobster, just everything..

Julio at the bar took great care of us! We had apps amd cocktails- the sake margarita was refreshing, enjoyed the flash fried bok choy and the green chickpea spring roll- also the spicy rock shrp in a paperyhin crispy wafer. Great little spot in the middle of loud clubs.

South beach can be overwhelming with overpriced choices but this was a little gem. Amazing, unique dishes with great service. Spring rolls and shrimp sliders were out of this world. Cocktails were also delicious! Great service too…our waiter even walked us next door after dinner to get us into the clevelander with no cover..

Octopus – really?!?!?!. I can’t believe I tried, and loved, all the exotic food at Zen Sai. The restaurant is lovely, the wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is amazing. Can’t wait to go there again!
