Mark. Patties are authentic Jamaican! I buy them by the dozens to take home to freeze and reheat for later. It is out of my way to get there but I make the trek anyway just for the tasty patties ! The cooked lunch is good too, the fried rice is excellent!
LOVE THE FOOD! AWESOME!. I love this place! They have the BEST jerk chicken, Escovetich Fish, Brown stew chicken, brown stew fish, oxtail and butter beans, coco bread, patties, and baked goods around! Their hardough bread is the best, creamiest, smoothest bread you’ll ever eat! I think they put heavy cream in it to make it so sweet and nice. The owners are Chinese Jamaicans, so you can get Chinese food there too!! Awesome! Yes, many Chinese descent live in Jamaica from birth, so they have Jamaican accents. My mom was amazed at this finding. I always do takeout because I like to eat in the comfort of my home. People are complaining on this site about there being about only 10 tables there. Listen, yes you can sit there and eat and have the waitress serve you, but to me, It’s not a place I choose to sit and dine. It’s one of those great places where you buy excellent food and then bring it back to your home and eat with your family, a nice date, alone with a nice movie, or good friends! If you want a place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, you know of familiar places where you can go and do that. Each place has its own purpose, so stop complaining.
