Best Roti I’ve had in YEARS! but make sure you bring cash…. L.C.’s Roti is a nice small place to get good grub. The menu is very simple, but what they do, they do it VERY WELL! The only thing is that I had to leave and come back to get cash for my order which was a little annoying, but let me tell you the food was worth it! The ladies making the food were very friendly and I liked how it is set up how you can see the food made right in front of you.
Excellent Roti. Great flavor, not too much curry or spice. Love the service people too. Very authentic Trini food. Highly recommend! Will visit them regularly.
My wife is from Trinidad so anytime we can have authentic food from her native land she won’t let me waver. Our recent trip to Miami landed us at LC Roti Shop. I admit that we try to make doubles roto etc at home so it really makes you appreciate when they are done right. A previous review said as authentic as Trinidad. They did not lie. LC was sweet and gracious as we watched raw dough transform into chicken shrimp and beef rotis. We love them. I had a Carib beer as we watched our delectable treat be made. Roti is so easy to eat that my American palat can handle it. Not spicy not sweet but very filling. I layered on the pepper sauce we ordered on the side and all the folks in the room from Trinidad looked at me like I was crazy. I see why, the pepper was incredibly hot but it had a great flavor. I know I have rambled on this but it truly is as authentic as they come and the Trinidad charm always helps!
This place is great. LC’s roti is great. where else can you get so much food (great food at that) for 5-8 dollars in Miami? the roti, no matter what variation, is good. I prefer the buss up shut and I get her to put that tamarind chutney from the pholurie on the side for an extra bit of flavor. the only roti i’ve had that was better was in Trinidad! I will admit that the place has absolutely no romantic element and is in a random strip mall, but the food is great, so either get it to go or don’t go on date night (unless you are one of the few unpretentious Miamians)
Waited 9yrs!. I’m a born Trini so I’ve eaten a lot of Roti’s and I love LC Roti. I’ve waited 9yrs to come back to Miami just to have one of LC roti’s.Its the best I ever had! One love, Trina 2 D bone REL!!!!!
