Curry goat to die for. Curry must be cooked well not to hurt your belly and you can rest assured that macca tree restaurant curry is well COOKED. The curried goat is well seasoned and tasty. It is best with the rice and peas. Top off with the fresh veggie salad which has cranberries in it so no need for fatty salad dressings. I have also tried their oxtail and it is delicious! Eat in or out and you feel special.17 Feb, 2012Macca tree is the best thing around town. Had a tasty dish of jerk chicken and rice and peas. The salad is to die for and to tell the truth no dressing needed because it is served with cranberry. The lettuce is fresh and tasty.My friend had curried goat and asked for seconds. Of course you have to pay.The host and hostess were just excellent and no waiting! They even had fried fish and guess what? Cornmeal pudding with a nice slush.
EXCELLENT. Let me start by saying I very seldom leave reviews about items I purchased let alone a restaurant. So with that being said, this restaurant was phenomenal. So good I’ve visited there twice within the last two days. Day One I ordered Escoveitch Fish, and it was outstanding, very flavorful without being over salty. Day Two: I ordered the Steamed Fish WOWWW!!!!! This meal hands down, may have been the best thing I’ve ever tasted. The presentation was marvelous. The fish was steamed to perfection and covered in brightly colored vegetables.The service is also very good, but you do have to wait for the steamed fish as it is cooked to order. But definitely well worth the wait.Overall this is a great find in Miami Gardens, one I am proud to have stumbled on.
Best Steam Fish in Miami Gardens. From the first day Macca Tree Caribbean Restaurant opened their doors we became their customers. We are virtually there several times per month. Our favorite dish is their Steam Fish with Vegetables. Delicious!!! Mek yu lick yu 10 fingers. Check out Macca Tree the next time you want a good steam fish, brown stew fish or fry fish lunch or dinner. Their fish meals are cooked to order, so be sure to call in your request.
The food is delicious and authentic! The staff is friendly.
