Simply oustanding! I was there yesterday with 2 friends . It was my first time in this beautiful and very good bistro . Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked! Is a Gem in Miami Shores .This is a real French bistro With a few tables lined up on the sidewalk, is not an luxury restaurant however is very beautifully and make you feel like in France . Each course was authentic, outstanding, prepared lovingly with fresh ingredients . The lentil soup was delicious and very tasty! The mahi mahi in hollandaise sauce outstanding and super healthy ! Yvan, is the owner and his wife Evelyne the co-owner, chef, heart and soul of the place. Both are super friendly This is NOT an expensive restaurant and it is NOT overpriced for what you get. Service, as you might expect, is impeccable yet friendly. Can’t wait to go back for their Sunday brunch and taste what they have to endulge my palate

Food 8 out of 10. Service 0 out of 10. Have been to this restaurant a few times over the last five years or so. The food is pretty good, especially the escargot appetizer. Was just there for Valentine’s day. The service was atrocious. My snapper entree was undercooked as in pink & skin tough & chewy). In total, the meal took almost four hours. Don’t go if you have to eat quick & stick with the beef or lamb entrees.

Neighborhood gem. Visited the Cote Gourmet after a long absence, with friends. All of us were happy with our selections, mostly made from the daily special menu. Not inexpensive, though there are lower priced choices if you stick with the crepes. It is a charming room, and while there were empty tables there was a respectable crowd. my main complaint is that the service is awful and they seem so tentative about it. For example, Wine glasses that were not needed were never taken off the table, it took forever for the check. I think the few folks on the floor also work in the kitchen, it is a small operation. We will go back, though, to support our local business.

French Feast. Dinner at the Cote Gourmet was a special experience. The service was exceptional. We had a 4 course dinner and each course was exquisite. I would highly recommend the Cote Gourmet to those looking for a friendly atmosphere offering large portions of excellent food.

Best kept secret in Miami Shores. Cote Gourmet just started their Brunch on Sundays and if you are missing France or want to got there, I highly recommend this restaurant. Authentic, refined, no frills restaurant with lovely French Owners. Free parking everywhere in a safe neighborhood only 10 minutes from downtown or aventura. Prices are reasonable and the wine choice is fantastic. Child friendly and right on 2nd Ave, you may chose from al fresco dining or sitting inside listening to classic Piaf in the speakers. I decided not to keep this one secret any longer. One should share good addresses.

The food is genuinely French. I tried different foods from the menu and they were all delicious. The plate presentation is as great as the taste itself. A bit pricey but well worth the money. Highly recommended.

First time I had dinner there and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise! I had the Salmon with shrimp and veggies, it was so FRESH, yes I said fresh! I really enjoyed my selection. The owners are very sweet and very French, so brush up on your French! I live in Miami Shores and will be visiting Cote more often. As stated… What a surprise, forget Lincoln road!
