Oh mannnnnnnnnn! I have been following Chef Reuben for a long time now and his Instagram page featuring his creative daily specials was actually one of the reasons I started my food page. His pictures are my food porn guilty pleasure! I finally went with my boyfriend and good friend during the week for lunch to try a steak sandwich special he had posted about that morning and let me tell you, I was far far from disappointed. This amazing restaurant is located near the Miami Airport and is within a liquor store, feeling like your stereotypical cuban cafeteria with very few tables and mostly counter dining. The place was pretty busy but we didn’t have to wait at all, sitting together at the counter. My friend and I ordered the daily special which that day was Mojo marinated steak sandwich on a soft hoagie with home made chipotle, refried beans, panko crusted onion rings with BBQ sauce, mashed roasted garlic and fried queso blanco $12.99. It was literally INSANE! Chef Reuben really takes the time to focus on each ingredient he incorporates and its well worth it because it really was the perfect symphony of flavor. I can’t rave enough about how good it was and I felt that for the price it was well worth it. My boyfriend decided to try the Dr. Pepper Bourbon Glazed Pepper Jack Cheeseburger $12.99 which he said was the best burger he had ever had. I tried a bite and might have to agree with him! I highly recommend this must try spot to all Miami locals who find themselves in the area and hungry for something beyond fulfilling or even to tourist who want to experience the best of Cuban Cuisine delivered in true Miami style!IG: KFitzEats

I have eaten there twice and both times the food was very good. Is reasonably priced and the place is nice and clean. There are lots of airport folks who frequent this place and that’s a good thing, I’m airport folk too. The staff and patrons are all very friendly.
