Best meal I had in Miami. I didn’t expect much, but I was floored! I got my dinner to go. It was served from an unassuming steam table. One carb (white rice, fried rice, or mangu…a plantain mash with garlic, aka fufu in other parts of the Caribbean)…one meat ( a chicken/beef/pork guisada/stew…I got pork…it rocked) and fried sweet plantain or yucca (I got both). There were also soups. All for 8 bucks. It was my first Dominican foray, and you know what they say….once you go Dominican, you never go back!
