Fried Mushrooms. Huge fresh hand breaded fried mushrooms served with a thick ranch dressing.14 Dec, 2014Awesome People! Great Food!. Started eating here a little over a year ago, fell in food love on the first day… Great customer service as well as serving the community free Thanksgiving Dinner. The prices are super cheap for the portions of food.
Diamond in the Rough. Great food and awesome prices. Not much to look at BUT you know what they say about books and their covers. We went for a Saturday lunch and all for of us had the 1/2 fried chicken. Slap yo mama good! Thick, crispy coating and juicy and flavorful inside. I couldn’t finish, and that’s saying allot about the portions. We just about ordered all their sides and all were excellent. Sweet tea like grandma made. Sugar coma….
The food is good. Certain items are overpriced. The service is terrible. The new location is a bust. Went for breakfast and the grits were so thick you could have stood a fork up in them. The omelet was runny. Service even worse at new location.
Good And Comforting. Our trip to Nicole’s was well worth the travel. Our onion ring appetizer was plentiful, crispy and served with delicious Ranch dipping sauce. My husband had the Mayport shrimp special and was thrilled with the amount of shrimp–13! The shrimp were large, lightly battered and fresh tasting. His corn tasted like it was fresh from the cob and the lima beans were soft and well seasoned with little pieces of ham. My pork chops (2) were grilled perfectly, the coleslaw was creamy and the green beans were delicious with pieces of bacon. Everyone was really friendly and the owner/manager came over to our table to inquire about our meal.
Good Food. Nicoles has some of the best bang for your buck. The portions are huge! What I love the best though is the food was good. Country cooking that was great and I left stuffed. Service was great as well over all a great expierence.
