Saw this place on tv and it’s on like a complete different road from which we normally take. Location and scenery of the place is awesome food was Ok. Nothing out of this world but very tasty. Had the dolphin sandwich and conch fritter. I do have to say their conch soup was delish.
Not a bad little dive bar with great service and cold beer. Their Fried Pickles and Sweet Potato Fries were great. I had their Conch Fritters plate for dinner, which was mostly filler and very little conch, though I admit it was tasty. I would return if I’m ever back in the area.
Loved it… Great relaxed atmosphere live music.. And let me tell you the coconut shrimp was excellent… Short story I have a favorite restaurant in cocoa beach which serves coconut shrimp go there yearly. Any how we travel often and I try the coconut shrimp everywhere when I’m usually disappointed. Alabama jacks is the ONLY place I’ve found which compares. I will be back yearly when we go to homestead speedway… I’m fussy and they exceeded my expectations.
Great atmosphere! Live music, drinks on the water, fresh delicious food…. Enjoyed the crab cakes, Conch salad, conch fritters…. Great stop on the way to key west
Hopefully they don’t steal the stuff from your car. The food was good. But all of our stuff was stolen from our car during our meal. There are signs posted in the restaurant about this. And other people online have had similar experiences. Beware!
What happened to the conch fritters?. Listen, I don’t think this will stop anyone, including myself from visiting this place, BUT I have been going there at least a couple times a year for a long time and always loved the fritters. This time, no conch was to be found!! All fried batter, little conch. :(. That said, everything else was as usual, good. Conch salad, while very small, ( you’ll need to order two) was very good. Atmosphere is so Keys, and just fun. Server was very nice. You;re not expecting the Ritz when you go here, but you will enjoy it for what it is. Band is good, makes you want to get up and dance, which you are welcome to do. And what’s up with no women’s tank tops for sale, yet again. Five trips now guys. Place an order! Free advertising for you and cute shirt for us. :))
Don’t Buy The Hype. Was told about the worlds best conch fritters…..OVERCOOKED FLOURWATER WITH BITS OF BELL PEPPER AND CONCH…..JUNK..I asked the waitress if the fritters were over cooked she said no….not to mention the fried fish was just as hard and over cooked. I don’t know how drunk the people who recommended this sh**hole were, but it is not worth the trip down cardsound road…1 dollar would have been too much for this sh**…AVOID THIS PLACE…DANGER DANGER
