Amazing staff (best in the area), great atmosphere, fun entertainment and decent food (no amazing, but not bad).
Blueberry salad and roast turkey sandwich. Sorry I always forget to take a pic before I start eating!06 Jul, 2014Came back…want to add that the blueberry salad and roast turkey sandwich are also amazing! Keep up the good work!06 Jul, 2014Had the Hogfish and the Mac and cheese. Both were very yummy and everything tasted fresh.
NO! Awful. Ordered the ‘fresh catch’ (black grouper) grilled and it was definitely previously frozen and fried on a griddle. Tough and flavorless. The mixed veggies were dry and flavorless. My daughter’s key lime pie was frozen. Cool atmosphere. Terrible and overpriced food.
FUNSPOT IN THE KEYS. Great casual restaurant with super food and service. Seafood is super fresh. Was there a few nights ago and our server, Annalisse was wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The manager, Dee Dee, stopped by to check on our food and chat for a few minutes. Very friendly and accomadating. I visit B oondocks on every trip to the area and have never been disappointed.
We were referred here from a local on Summerland Key to watch a game in the Big Ten tournament. The minute we walked in, we knew this wasn’t the type of establishment that we wanted to be at to watch a game. We asked one of the servers if she could turn the volume up on one of the tv’s and she told us that she could turn it up a little bit, but only if it didn’t disturb the other customers, even though there were maybe 10 other people here, total. Our actual server was one of the worst servers I’ve ever had. She made it clear that her shift was almost over, and I am a server, so I totally get that feeling, but she was so rude and unfriendly, it was horrible. The only saving grace was the Garden Fries. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.
Food not great but I like the atmosphere.
Low light mini golf. This is where my family goes a few times a year to play mini golf. At night it is so underlit by mini golf standards it’s dark enough to feel like you’re playing in the jungle. I like this effect, some may not.
