Food was wonderful and well presented. There was also a great live band. The service was very forgetful. This is definitely a tourist destination. Next time I hope to find something more local. All in all the experience was good.

Useless. Not a better fish than fresh hogfish is there? Excited as I was to talk my inland friends into ignoring mahi as the standard and embracing the hog. Well at boondocks they will serve you fresh frozen Atlantic cod and swear up n down it’s hogfish. Granted maybe I looked like a keys tourist in my fishing shirt, shorts n 200$ polarized lenses, but as a Andros resident I can say I speared n cleaned 100 hogfish. Pretty unique fish to say the least, specific shape n thickness and very fine grained. Frozen thick grained cod on the other hand passes much closer to grouper even tho a big taste difference there. Serve your cod to the guy with black socks, zinc oxide, n a bird book in his pocket. I did query the waitress who swore the chef said it was hog but I never saw her or a manager again n still got charged for fresh fish…. Won’t go back
