First off Evelyn’s is in Key Largo. My friend and I were doing some shopping and decided to stop for lunch. It was a little difficult to figure out what type of restaurant; the sign is very faded and dilapidated, possibly due to hurricane damage? Seated on the outdoor patio. Service was quick and friendly. Ordered chips and salsa, chips were still warm, the mild salsa freshly made and delicious. We split a seafood platter, which was just right for the 2 of us. Seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. Cost was reasonable, the outdoor seating made for a pleasant end to our shopping trip.
