Good service. Food is average and slightly overpriced but that’s expected at a resort in the keys. The views are nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. I’d recommend starting at the Breezes Tiki Bar next door for happy hour then coming here for dinner. There’s not many options in key largo so this is a safe bet.

The fish of the day was amazing but my wife’s food had about a pound of curry on it. If you are a curry lover the dish would have been good, if you are like most and don’t like curry the dish was overpowering.
Being staunch vegetarians, dinner at gus’ grille would sound as far fetched as trying for ski slopes in the keys. However a few minutes spent with chef Barrett resulted in a veritable smorgasbord of vegetarian delicacies.
Gus’ is part of the Mariott resort and we arrived later to a wonderful outdoor view and excellent service. We each got a fish dinner, which were excellent and ample portions. Enjoyed the shrimp cocktail appetizer and would rerun again. Prices were average for the food and was an overall pleasant experience.
Excellent food and large portions. We split the catch of the day and an appetizer and ended up with no room for dessert. Great view and great service.
