Honestly the Original tuna nachos are to die for. My family and I fought for every bite even the seaweed I. If I hadn’t already put my order in I would have had it as my meal. I had the blacked magi sandwich which was delicious. The fries are great. But omg those nachos.
Great food, awful service. Took over an hour food and that’s after ordering drinks. Ahi Tuna was just right and the salad was loaded with goodies. Go but don’t be in a hurry
If you are looking for a fun time and a light atmosphere – wait til dark and sit by the water and feed the fish your fries (good for you and the fish are fun to watch) – it is off the beaten path in Key Largo and worth the jaunt. It is bar good but relaxing and a great atmosphere
Key largo gem. We had just arrived in Key Largo. We walked next door expecting low level bar food and a cocktail overlooking the water. We were nicely surprised. We are from Atalanta and honestly are pretty hard to please. The Bloody Maria made by Carolyn was awesome and my husbands mojito was just right. My son ate a yummy burger. The shrimp tacos (recommended by Carolyn) we’re tasty. They had live music on a Sunday afternoon. It really was very quaint and a great value! We will absolutely be back. We tried The Conch House for dinner and we were very sad we didn’t just go back here. Btw Conch House….nasty.
Diner quality at gourmet prices. My wife and I went for dinner. The place has a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and adjacent marinas. We were taken aback by the prices. A majority of the dinners were in the upper $20’s. The entrees were in the low to upper teens. More than we initially expected but we then figured the food would be of a better quality. My wife ordered a $9.95 burger with fries and I ordered the nightly special of BBQ chicken and ribs at $13.95. What came was food you’d expect from a typical diner. The burger was just a pre-made patty. My chicken and ribs was nothing special. It tasted ok but again nothing like what you’d expect for the prices. My suggestion is, if you’re going for dinks / happy hour, you will be satisfied. If your going to eat food, look elsewhere.
Great food, service and atmosphere. The tuna nachos are great. It’s a little pricey but not more than competing restaurants. I would go there again.
The view is great! Service and food is horrible. Wanted a steak and they were out. My last ordered a drink and e told her to stir the bay breeze because it wasn’t mixed well! Really??? It is a locals bar but not goo for people who like a good meal and a decent drink!
