I had the stuffed (with crab) fish of the day (mahi mahi). This was, hands down, the best fish Ive ever had. The fillets were huge and I ate every bite!
We had an excellent experience for dinner at Mrs Macs Kitchen. We were seated right away and our waitress took good care of us. My husband had the seafood basket which consisted of deep fried lobster, shrimp and fish with fries and cole slaw that tasted out of this world! His dinner cost $19.99. My dinner was a New York Strip steak with a loaded baked potato, roll and garden salad for $22.58. My ordered my steak Medium and it was excellent. It tasted wonderful, nice and tender. The potato cake to our table with melted cheese on it with real bacon bits inside. Butter and sour cream on the side. One of the best steaks Ive had in a while.
Absolutely loved their Key Lime pie! [Check out my youtube video by searching: ‘best key lime pie in the world’] Their service was amazing – super friendly staff. Only possible complaint would be that they could do with a few updates, but it’s definitely an authentic feeling in there!
Great food and fun atmosphere with lots of character. Breakfast was great, staff was friendly. Try the hash brown casserole. Not to be missed.
Had heard about this place and it was definitely on the list to go to during our trip….and it definitely delivered. We went for dinner and they were busy but able to accomodate our large group quickly. The drinks from the bar were great and the coconut shrimp basket was outstanding. The service was fast and the food was fresh and hot. Great atmosphere for kids as well….not a quiet place but a friendly atmosphere.
Very good food for the price. I have ordered clam strips at a couple different places in the islands and these were the only ones that did not resemble Sea-pak brand frozen store-bought.
Yum. Great Keys eating place!! Delicious food and island atmosphere. Conch chowder is the best!!! Yummy fresh fish always. Don’t miss this Keys style eatery.
