Food was ok but service was bad. Would not go back.
Mosquito attack!!! The food was ok, the server was well informed, they put sugar, cinnamon and salt on their chips which was different but ok. I will not go back because I was eaten alive by Mosquitos!! I mean I have 20 bites all over me. I went to the car and put pants on so they attacked my feet and arms. When the food came they got worse. The server offered to move us inside but it was dark and really we only went there to be near the water! Get some tiki torches or something!!’

Good food, bad service. The food was reasonably good and tasty. Nothing to rave about but not bad either. We are vegetarians and they brought us some of their standard menu items minus the meat. It turned out be light and less greasy than usual vegetarian items in a Mexican restaurant. The desserts were very good. The service was quite pathetic. First they didn’t provide us place settings for everyone, the tables were wet and they didn’t dry them, they forgot to bring appetizers we ordered and brought the entrees instead. When we were done with the entrees, the waiter just handed us the check. I sent him back for the menu and ordered dessert. Finally he gets me the check with the gratuity percentages at 15, 18 and 22 % circled. Btw they charged us full fare for the food.
Cross contamination. The restaurant advertises that it is vegan friendly, but they have one stove that EVERYTHING is cooked on. If it is deep fried, EVERYTHING is cooked in the same grease (chips). It is the farthest thing from vegan friendly. It isn’t even healthy to cross contaminate. I still would have left happy if my margarita had some alcohol in it, however, it tasted more like a smoothie! Crap food….. nice view!
I’ll Pass. Senor Frijoles used to be really good. Now, not so much. Nothing has a unique flavor (they coat everything in the same damn sauce, which I think is pretty slacking) and they definitely skimp on the alcohol in their daiquiris. If you go, sit outside; there’s a great view. However, if you want seriously good Mexican food, keep driving.
