Absolutely loved Sparkys! The staff seemed very genuine and even asked if we had a DD/how far away we were staying. The food was on POINT! The crab artichoke dip was so good we could have ate an entire bucket. If you’re looking for a good time, definitely stop by Sparkys!
Great Lunch. Stopped at Sparky’s after taking a tour of The Turtle Hospital.Don’t pass up the Sparky’s Oysters or the Key Lime Pie. Both are excellent as was everything else we had.Wait staff was friendly and on spot with their service.
So so service. Very average to poor preparation of fish sandwiches. Poor value. Maybe a good bar but not a decent place to eat good food.
Okay. The fish tacos were tasty. If you can get a spot on the ocean-front deck (out of the sun) it’s a nice view (but otherwise the decor is nothing to write home about). If you’re drunk and having a great vacation I’m sure it seems fantastic.
Average to below average food for upscale prices. If you like to pay a lot of money for below average food and for waitresses that reek of marijuana, then this is the place for you! Conch fritters were bland, tasteless and crispy (over-cooked) but the remoulade sauce was decent. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying the peel and eat shrimp and wings. I got the fish of the day and fries and my date got the fish tacos. We were not impressed. The fish was flaky but that is about the only good thing I can say about it. We were disappointed that the fish tacos came with fried fish. Will be visiting other places on my trip to the Keys… Disappointed that this place was so highly rated and it was a $40 bill with average to below average food and our waitress’s breath stunk of marijuana.
Always a Good Time!!!!. Have been to Sparky’s many times while on vacation in Marathon. Always great food and good times!!!!Even bought the TShirt! A must go to while in Marathon!
Flash broiled oysters and fish dip were great. Wait staff was very helpful and attentive. Main course of lobster, black beans and veggies were disappointing. Key Lime pie was AMAZING!
