Outstanding grouper sandwich and Paleo version. Topped with onion rings and a lime tarter sauce. Side house salad is greens, blue cheese crumbles and a sweet vinaigrette. Voted the best grouper in Key West and it gets our vote as well. At mile marker 22.5. The Square Grouper name comes from the 70’s and refers to drug packages dropped from plane floating to shore to awaiting connections. Gets Chill Travelers rave chilltravelers.com
Roadhouse exterior belies casually elegant interior. Impressive menu and sophisticated specials. Delicious conch chowder-tomato based and some heat. Elevated grouper sandwich. Extensive selection of craft cocktails, wine and craft beers. Upstairs is My Second Joint, didn’t go there.
Service was good. However, food quantity was less and price was more. I wouldn’t recommend this place…………………………………
Great food and friendly service! Appetizers were excellent and the main course encrusted grouper and seared scallops were perfect. Topped it off by sharing a brownie! We’ll be back for sure!!
Menu had strange combinations of flavors such as banana curry sauce. Food was acceptable but cost was very high. $25 to $30 entrees that would cost $10 less anywhere else
DELICIOUS! Seared Sea scallops, Ahi tuna, fried shrimp, calamari appetizer…we will definaty be back!
