Service was bad. I ask what kind of wine they have and the waitress said white and red. With no more options I opted for whatever red wine they had.My cousin 7 months pregnant needed to use the restroom and they told her that restrooms were closed because of the festival. And that she had to use the public ones. She went to the public ones while we were still in the restaurant, but there was a long line.She came back to the restaurant and the lady told her that she couldn’t use the restroom period.We went to the restaurant next to it and were able to use their restroom without any problem.I would not recommend this restaurant.
Nice place. Went there today. Had the Lobster Bisque, it was very, very good. Also had the mini cheese platter which comes with 3 different cheeses of your choice, also comes with fresh fruit and a bread basket. We enjoyed everything and our waitress was very pleasant. We ate outside on the patio very relaxing atmosphere. We also had a glass of wine (Riesling) which was very tasty. Will definitely be returning.
I’m over this is not only how I felt after my dining experience but also apparently how the wait staff feels about their jobs as they were heard on several occasions stating This exact phrase. The food was decent but nothing special, and definitely not worth the wait. During my lunch I heard several other diners complain about the slow and rude service. I will definitely not be returning.
Good food but service is very sub -par. The older man who waited on us was slow, rude and not friendly at all. A surprise in lovely Mt Dora!!!
Great food and atmosphere. I ate here with some friends on a Saturday evening. We were having a girls’ day out. The food and atmosphere were great. A lot of reviewers have complained about the service. Our waitress was very nice and personable. While it wasn’t the quickest service, I also noticed that there weren’t a lot of staff so to me it wasn’t an issue of the staff being slow, just short handed.I will definitely go back.
Excellent Brie and French Onion Soup. Indifferent and slow wait staff. Do not dine here if you’re in a hurry. Enjoy the food and patio dining (although they will ask you to move tables if you are a small party) but do not expect a wonderful dining experience.
Everybody that’s complaining about the rudeness…that’s the French for you!
