Incredible food but service is extremely slow. Make sure you are not in a hurry
What has happened?. I am cuban and I visit this restaurant every time I can, but lateley the food has been a disgrace. My husband ordered the garbanzo soup and it was just a cup of dirty water with no flavor and 2 garbanzos, we sent it back and the waitor excuse was that they were really busy, does that mean they added water? I ordered the pork that was absolutely tasteless and my sister ordered the moros that was dried and was served sloppy. It is a shame that this restaurant that was the pride of cuban cuisine for so long has become the worse in the orlando area. I used to travel here every other week but now, I will stay in Orlando for a better cuban food. What a shame.
Orlando diner, Cuban. This was not the greatest experience. The Bistec Palomilla was actually a Bistec encebollado, even though the menu does accurately describe a Bistec paomilla that was not what I was served. The bottles with the sauces were dirty and when I attempted to clean them the napkin was black because of the metal. The black beans were watery and unseasoned. They ran out of tostones, and we used a high chair to level our table. It’s unforrunate to say that in order to have good Cuban food you must go to Miami. The best Bistec de paomilla is at the Latin American Cafeteria in Hialeah.
Closed!. Despite having their hours posted everywhere, they were closed when we went. We drove 30 min to get there and were rather annoyed. I tried contacting the staff and they didn’t really seem bothered to fix anything. They have good food, but their service has gone downhill. I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Amazing authentic Cuban food
Absolutely the best. I am disappointed with the last reviews. I am a local and this is one of my favorite places to eat. I am white, my family is white, and also my white friends love Copacabana. My latins coworkers love Copacabana, my dark neighbors love Copacabana.I think this is a complot from the competition. They are trying to destroy the reputation of a great restaurant. Too bad!I went there several times and I highly recommended. I am pretty sure you’ll be treated with respect.
The Racist Hostess. Our first time there. Nov. 29th 2014. Was told 15 to 20 mins. Then a family of 5 another race comes up after us gets in 1st. Oh my family is white. Then another of 11 gets in before us. Ok then we get seated. 30 mins later. Our table is dirty has food on it. Ask if it can be wiped off she grabs a towel does one swipe and never gets the food off the table. Stands up and says I am doing my best, very rudely and gives a nasty look at us. If that’s her best I don’t want to eat there. Then she walks in to the kitchen. That’s when we decide we r not eating here ever. That’s how Ebola starts. A nasty nasty nasty person, Not from here. Apparently she has issues. I advice don’t eat here. Go to Eustis off orange avenue they have the best Cuban food. And are very pleasant.
