Great Local Place. Visiting from Pittsburgh. Great local place. The decor is fantastic. Great home cooking, huge portion. A nice relaxing place to eat, enjoy time with family. Another great place to eat in Mt Dora – no trip would be complete without eating here.
Yes, finally some service and some lunch!. I spent Saturday, January 12th trying to get some lunch with my sister in Downtown Mt. Dora to no avail. The first two restaurants we went to had horrible service, one with bad food, the other with such bad service that we didn’t even get a drink let alone any food. Finally we both agreed to go to good ole’ Jeremiah’s where we know we can’t go wrong. It was an absolutely beautiful day, sunny and high 70s. We wanted to sit outside, which we did. We were very quickly greeted with menus by a sweet young girl (wish I could remember her name). We were first so surprised to get the attention after the terrible time we were having and told this server what we had been through. She seemed to genuinely feel bad for us and immediately brought out our drinks. She returned and informed us of the specials of the day and placed our order. The food arrived promptly, hot and delicious. Our server was attentive and the food was great. Thank you Jeremiah’s for cheerfully feeding two starving ladies! We will surely be back.
Poor service
Worst food I’ve ever had. I’m not exaggerating, this was really bad food. By the look of the place, I was prepared for mediocre eats; but this was gross. The chicken on my salad was dry and gritty, the apples on the same salad were mushy. Around the table there were instant mashed potatoes, green beans out of the can, and soggy skin on the trout. If you’re looking for a place to eat, choose anywhere else for your own sake.
Good Food. The service was slow…But they were polite and the food was more than average. We liked it and will return
Bad Service. We have been to Jeremiah’s for years, but their service has gone down hill. and they didn’t seem to care. The table right next to us had the same issues and walked out. We complained to the gay manager and he did not seem to care. And yes – I said Gay manager in Mt Dora, Fl. If Wayne doesn’t take care of this he will be out of business.
