Enjoyable for The Price. I have been to a few Japanese Steak Houses… I was told this place was the place to go (by several people) – I have to say I agree – It was Good – I agree with some of the other comments with respect to location & decor – but if you are wanting more of the Japanese Fancy Steak House Vibe – don’t go there – if you enjoy this type of food and can’t afford to go the fancier places – this is a really good place to go – the food was good, the price was good, the portions were good – I enjoyed myself and I enjoyed the food!
The best da** food ever. If you are human u must go there and eat there food its the best steak house ever known to man kind the white sauce is very good must try it on every thing they have there , the owner is always there working every time i go there very nice man, would not settle for a copy of there food like kiku and some of the others are trying to do , well just talkin about it im goin now
Great value and always fun :-). Yes it is a little worn and the location isn’t very ‘up market’, but we really enjoy it here. Portions are good, meat and veggies are fresh and the service is good. Wine and cocktails are well priced and it’s always entertaining for kids or visitors who’ve never eaten at an hibachi grill before. It may not be as fresh and new as some of the other hibachi places around, but that’s reflected in their lower prices, and the quality is just as good.
We go for the food…. I see some comments about the old strip mall building…I can agree with that. But the food is good, the serving’s are huge, and the price is fair. The owner is there taking care of customers every night, and the employees are very friendly. They really cater to families too. We’ll be there once a month for sure!!
An awsome cheaper verson of Kobes. It’s been around for over 10 years so older building Is to be expected. New carpet was being put in on Sunday when we went for dinner, so I’m thinking the catching up with the times. Bottom line, amazing food!
Not for sushi. Dirty and old strip mall joint. Better to go into historic downtown to the sushi bar there. This is for the bbq crowd
Dirty Windows. Thats all I can remember about Lampu…Oh yea, Do NOT go for lunch on Sundays…Seems the Baptists love Chinese.Filthy tabletops…handprints on the glass front are inexcusable…just looks dirty. We won’t be back
