Super place. We love this place, have been going for over 20 years. Very super service, when we are asked to move, we do for a reason, be flexible. Move one space over, wow!Food is great, especially the steak. If you don’t like people, don’t go to that type of restaurant. DAH!
Horrible service! Don’t waste your money!. Very unprofessional restaurant! Do NOT go! Once we enter the restaurant, they took us to a table were 3 people were sitting. The 3rd person comes out of the restroom and tells the waiter she wanted our seats. She didnt want the corner side and wanted her family to sit together. She leaves the table with her 2 older teenagers. The manager comes and tells us to move to her seats. Remind you the waiter sat us there. We tell him we are not moving and switching seats. Whats the big deal?! He replies then Im not serving you. You can leave. All because this trashy lady didnt want to sit on the corner. Ive never seen a restaurant want to play musical chairs and tell us to leave after they sat us there. Dont waste your money!! Go to Kobes if you are looking for excellent service! This place is trash!
This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I ordered the house special, which would probably cost upwards of 40$ at other hibachi places, but only costs 13.95 at this gem. Every aspect was to die for. The fried rice, soup, salad, vegetables, noodles and meats were amazing. Also, the white sauce is heavenly. I was pretty close to hiding a bottle under my shirt and bolting with it. The service was also very friendly. Our server ‘Kenny’ could probably be a stand up comedian on the weekends if he really wanted to. The owner Paul had some funky eyebrows but was a very nice man and made us feel appreciated. I live in Gainesville but will probably drive 2 hours to dine here on a weekly basis.
