Best Place for a Sweet Tooth Craving. So many varieties of candy to choose from. They have delicious chocolates, jelly beans, and gummies galore! I had a gourmet frozen chocolate banana which was so good! I sampled some of the gelato and the butter pecan was amazing. The boy working was funny and friendly.Great Place!
Way Overprice and Stale. We bought 4 little chocolates for over $7.00 and 3 of them were stale. DO NOT recommend
Sweetest Little Shop in Mount Dora. Best Candy Store I’ve ever visited. The decor is adorable, from the outside to inside. This confectionary is dripping in bright colors, glitter and of course, sugar. I found their bulk candy prices most reasonable for any candy shop. The gourmet chocolates, were just that. Very well priced for their quality and taste. And in addition, they offer sugar free. Without a doubt, the best Gelato I’ve ever had! So rich and creamy. Heard a couple talking who just came back from a recent vacation to Italy, comparing it to the homemade Gelato they had in its native country, who happen to give it an exceptionally high rating! My favorite is the Nutella! Also serving delicious Sorbets, Italian Ices and Soft Serve. …All of which can be accompanied by special toppings. Always served with the greatest smiles! Thanks Mount Dora Confectionary! You made my day!
Way overpriced. They upcharge you for everything, including getting your ice cream in a cone… Say what??!!! Plus the guy working was about as grumpy as they get.
There are a number of candy/sweets places in MD, but this one’s the best. Gotta try their chocolates! As beautiful and delicious as any I’ve had anywhere.
Great place for candy and chocolate and great service. I recently visited this place a couple weeks ago and I loved it. The employees there gave me a very warm welcoming. They had a wide variety of candies and chocolates. Also they sell delicious soft serve ice cream topped with all kinds of toppings. If you have not visited Mount Dora Confectionary I would highly reccomend it to anyone.
