Authentic German food done well for the most part. The chef needs to keep his eye on the schnitzel, it burns in a hurry. Sauerbraten was to die for. So was the red cabbage.
We went with another couple. Everyone got something different. The place was about half full. Not one item was warmer than luke warm. I have worked in a 80 seat restaurant and have cooked for 10-15 person groups much of my life. Nothing was freshly made. Gravy from a mix, canned mushrooms, instant potatoes. Some of the Spaetzles were dried out and crunchy so fridge burned or dried out; made ahead in volume and reheated. Canned sauerkraut and red cabbage. Schnitzel had burnt areas. Everything tasted ok the way a good frozen dinner tastes. I ordered Goulashe Suppe but never got it. Salads came out with the entre. Its sad when owners lose their drive and start taking short cuts. There is a German Restaurant in Sanford and DeLand. Drive there.

Not too thrilled with the service, mashed potatoes are made from a box so not reccommended, everything seems to be prepared ahead of time and frozen
Read the reviews and decided to try it for lunch. Very happy that we did! Great chicken schnitzel with potato salad and the pork schnitzel on a pretzel roll was tasty. Would defiantly go back again for dinner.
Yummo!. Had a basic Brat and Kraut with some potatoe salad. Awesome flavor and great staff. German dark beer was very good. I will be back.
