Ice cream. One of the tastiest and smooth ice creams that I have had in awhile!
Best Spot in Mount Dora!. This tiny little shop has charm and delicious treats! I had the raspberry truffle ice cream and a mango iced tea. Two of the best things I have had in a long time! The friendly staff made my day by allowing me to sample flavors and everything looked like it was made with care. I am going to come back and bring all my friends.
Best Coffee in Mount Dora. The Village Coffee Pot is my favorite shop in Mount Dora. They have fresh coffee, and plenty of ice creams and gelatos to choose from. They even offer meals (try the nutty chicken salad wrap!) The VCP is a must see 🙂
Great Service and Food!. We went for sandwiches and although it is counter service, the young girl working the counter acted like a waitress, brought us our drinks and food which she made herself, then checked up on us! We went back for ice cream later and she was there again and gave us great big scoops! nutty chicken salad wrap is great but the real reason we went back was for the service!
Rude. Just plain unfriendly and rude. asked for a small cone for my 4 yr old and was told they only can make a large or small. Told her I’d pay the same for a very small scoop but somehow that was not possible. Not returning!
Mt Dora Staple. Every time we come to Mt Dora we come here. Their iced coffee is delicious. Don’t expect Starbucks level service here. It’s a mom and pop place that’s being run by teenagers. But it’s the only spot for coffee and ice-cream while antique shopping in Mt Dora.
Not too sure about this place…. I was actually eating an ice cream with a friend here when the owner asked us to finish up outside so he could close up. No problem, right? But, the hours posted on the door said he was open until 9:00 p.m. and this was at 8:20 p.m. No apologies or anything. I wouldn’t know anything else about this establishment because I vowed then and there to never give him another $ of my hard-earned money.
