A very enjoyable dinner. I agree with the other reviews this was excellent Thai food. For dinner last night I tried their Two Amazing Friends, a chicken and shrimp dish atop cabbage with a liberal amount of a peanut sauce. The sauce was the predominant flavor, as expected, which I very much liked. Others with me spoke well of their dishes, a Massaman Curry with Chicken and basically a Beef and Broccoli dish.We began our dinner by sharing an order of Thai Spring Rolls. I ordered without looking closely at the menu, expected that clear rice paper wrapping around some mixture of veggies, but this was way better. Wrapped in rice paper yet still deep fried, it had a great texture and flavor.One thing I like about Thai restaurants is the use of wood as part of their dcor, and Benjaong did not disappoint. A beautiful interior and the focus on details really set the mood for a pleasurable meal. Service was very good throughout the visit.

This restrraunt serves the best authentic Thai food in Tampa – bar none. The curry dishes are balanced with the right combination if spice and coconut milk unlike the tepid, overly sweet affairs served by others. The Tom Kar Gai (a true test as any – is spot on with a great cocoanut chicken broth – and the whole snapper with sweet and hot chile sauce is perfect, Really great ownership and service an added plus!
Just had another great meal here. The food is consistently delicious. I tried the dumplings for the first time and enjoyed them. The consistency is just right and the flavor and accompanying sauce are yummy. We missed out super-friendly waitress but were happy with our dining experience, as usual!24 Mar, 2013Fresh and flavorfull!. Always delicious food and prompt service. Extra rice with food is no problem. Vegetables are fresh. We usually have the same waitress each time which works out for us; she is super nice and has a great sense of humor.
Unbelievable!!!!. Bad service and mediocre food. The staff was pushy about tips, sharing food ( be prepared to pay a sharing fee if you get a meal to split with a friend) and discourteous. I live in this area and I’ve have had much better Thai. Will not visit again.
All Time Favorite. My family has been going here for many years. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The quality of the food has been consistently good, vegetables are fresh and flavorful. Favorites inclue Pad Thai (of course), Pad Ba Mee, and the Amazing Beef. The Steamed Dumplings are outstanding, and the Crab Rangoon is pretty good, too! The staff are always very pleasant and friendly. I go there for both lunch and dinner.
