Solid spot for a basic lunch. Service was a tad on the rude side recently- but maybe it was an off day as I know this is a local’s hangout.
Changes. We knew at our last visit the Carrollwood Deli had been sold. The food has not changed, but Carrollwood Deli has changed. The passion, the energy and enthusiasm is lost with the new owners. It seems so quiet. Sally and her husband put everything into making it an experience not just a place to eat. I don’t think we will continue being regular customers. Refused valid tbo voucher. I had this for a bit as personal life has be insane due to plumbing issues but now life more stable so wanted to try out very local place with a TBO voucher I payee for almost a year ago however no experation date was on it so i can not review this properly but they lost my business forever
Oh…sooooo gooooooooddddd!. I really wish I could just buy a loaf of their whole wheat bread and a stick of butter and eat it all! It is so darned good. For a nice change I had the BLT with cheddar on whole wheat and it was absolutely to die for delish. This place is awesome!
Homemade bread and cookies.. Not only do they make their on bread for many of the sandwiches, but the make fresh cookies and the meats are out of the world. I have been there 3 times from the reccomendation from others and they were spot on! Also try the many different soups of the day.. also homemade!
Best Deli in Tampa. Because of the fresh food (especially the bread) – the FABULOUS owners (especially Sally) and the clean, cozy atmosphere! Simply a Tampa favorite AND must!
