Love eating here! The staff is so wonderful & friendly! The pressed Cuban sandwiches are so good & have pulled roasted pork on them rather then sliced pork! Very juicy! My 2 sons love to get black bean & a cuban sandwich! On Friday’s I enjoy getting the ox tail with yellow rice & black beans! My husband & I enjoy eating breakfast here once or twice a month! Hot cuban coffee is a great way to start the day!

STAY WAY. I went there this past week to try them out so I could go back there with my husband. I had one of the specials-Roast pork with 2 sides. I chose plantains which was okay and the yellow rice which was bland. The pork was very GREASY and tasteless. No seasoning or mojo. It has slices of raw onions on top. I got up to the bar to ask for soy sauce. The top of the bottle and the rim were FILTHY. When I went to pay by the cash register, they spoke to each other in Spanish. The waitress told the cashier to charge me $6.95, a dollar more. I drank water. I asked why and they cashier said that the waitress made a mistake and she should not have written it as a special. The waitress then erased it from the board. She told the cashier to give me back 50 cents. I was still over charged by 50 cents. I left $1 tip. Fifty cents is not much but it was the principle involved that got me. I eat out a lot and I told them that I would never come back. There are so many good restaurants in Carrollwood. BTW, I am not Latina but I speak Spanish fluently.
