Im from Texas and have been living in Florida for the past 13 years. Unfortunately there werent any local BBQ restaurants that compared to Texas BBQ – until now. My husband and I stopped in at the Clearwater location for the first time last night and boy are we glad that we did. We were impressed from the moment we parked. As soon as we started walking to the front door, we were greeted by a waitress with the biggest smile on her face welcoming us to the restaurant. We were seated quickly and had fresh sweet tea in a matter of minutes. We each ordered a two meat plate. My husband ordered the chopped brisket and sausage with potato salad and baked beans. I ordered the ribs and chopped brisket with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. We also received a cornbread muffin. The beef was practically falling off the ribs. Everything was moist and flavorful. Make sure to try to personal size pie sweet potato or pecan. The entire meal was delicious! The wait staff was fast, friendly and accommodating. The owner and cook, Johnny Ray Smith (former defensive back for the Tampa Bay Bucs), was behind the counter chatting with us about living in Texas; he was also so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back to this BBQ joint and highly recommend this new restaurant to all looking for good BBQ. Stop going to the chains and support your independent restaurant instead because the food is way better and of much more quality. Best of luck to Jazzys, we hope you remain in business for a very long time so we have an endless supply of great BBQ!

Jazzy’s review. I have been here a few times. Several kinds of barbecued meat are served, with a choice of a few side dishes. The atmosphere is decent, with nice wood tables and chairs. The rolls are not homemade, and it would be nice if they would either make the rolls or buy a better quality. The pork and the mild barbecue sauce I most recently had were good. The baked beans were average. The people who brought the food to the table were friendly and gave good customer service. The main suggestion I have for Jazzy’s is that much better quality forks and knives be purchased. The ones they have now are made of flimsy white plastic and are not individually wrapped in plastic. I would go back again. By the way, this place is nowhere near Carrollwood – it is on the eastern edge of Town & Country.

Very good old fashioned barbecue that you don’t find much anymore. The shredded pulled pork with mild sauce was exceptional moist, tender and full of savory flavors. For the price I was receiving definetly more food than for lunch.

Talk about good eats !!!!. Truly love this restaurant. The meat on the ribs just fall off the bone. And talk about a fantastic BBQ sauce. The extras, like their famous macaroni and cheese, wow…..how about the collard greens and french fries. Just talking about this makes me want to travel back to tampa and get some food. The best all around.

They had dirty buckets catching leaks in the roof (was raining that night). Ribs were tough & dry. Brisket was mushy & drowning in tasteless bbq sauce. They mixed up our order so we ended up eating off each others plates. But the real kicker was how poorly the ribs were done. Should never have been put on the plate. Not good bbq!

Awesome BBQ. I’ve had Q from many local joints over the past 15 years. I have a new favorite. Jazzy’s is INCREDIBLE!! Their spicy sauce will set you on fire. The sauce is loaded with flavor and heat. Plenty of food for a fair price. I can smell it from the Veterans expressway which makes it difficult to not exit. I tried them several weeks ago and have been back about 10 times. They are the only BBQ that I have had since. GREAT JOB JAZZY’S SEE YA SOON.
