Pleasant Experience. It was 1:45 Saturday afternoon, had stopped at Slice Masters based on reviews seen here. Ordered two pies to go and my wife and I took a walk to visit other shops while we waited. Saw the NY bagel store and tried to go in but door was locked, a minute or so later, what I assume was the owner opened the door explained they were doing some minor repairs, I told him no problem we wanted to try them and would be back. He asked me to wait and a couple of minutes later brought me a large bag of assorted bagels! What a nice surprise and better yet, they are by far the best bagels I have had in Tampa. Closest thing to New York bagels [ I am pretty selective] I have found yet. Don’t usually write reviews but the owner, and the bagels are both winners. You now have a new loyal customer.
Excellent!. This place is amazing. My husband and I used to go to Einstein Bagels on Sunday mornings and, since discovering NY Bagels, have not been back. NY Bagels has excellent food, awesome customer service, and is way better priced than Einstein’s.
Great service, good prices, and delicious breakfast sandwiches. I got the egg and cheese on a multigrain bagel and wasn’t disappointed.
Excellent toasted garlic bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, red onions, & tomatp. Great whitefish salad too when they have it.
Yum!. This place is awesome! they have great prices, good food and are very quick at making the food! Their catering items as well are delicious I eat them on Tuesdays and Thursdays when they have their dinners. My favorite is the chicken tuscany which is very moist and delicious!
Super Yummy. My husband and I tried them for the first time this morning, and we were delighted. The people behind the counter knew everyone by name, knew their regular orders, knew their dog’s names. They were courteous, timely, and the bagels were fantastic. Easily reviled anything we’ve had in New York.
Quaint. The first impression I got from NY bagel and Bean was the people there were all frequent customers. It had a very homely feel probably something to do with the fact the place is run by a family. The coffee was fairly standard fair but the bagels certainly delivered. I had a blueberry bagel with honey strawberry cream cheese. The bagel was fresh, perfect size, and toast to perfection. The spread also was a lovely compliment to the meal. I prefer Bagel’s plus overall but this place was outstanding in its own right and I can totally see why it has so many loyal customers.
