I didnt have much expectations for a chinese restaurant in the us but this wasnt bad. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken and mixed veggies. The chow mein looked bland but surprisingly tasted ok, the soy sauce that is normally common in chinese noodles wasnt too overpowering. The orange chicken is cooked a bit differently from what im used to in manila. I love the crispiness of the skin and it was thinly coated with sweet and spicy orange sauce (it was more sweet sauce with a tiny hint of orange) as opposed to what we have in manila where the the sauce is quite a lot and tastes very sweet and orangey. The chicken was also not fully coated with the sauce so it was a bit dry on some parts. The portions were too much that i asked them for half portions only. The mixed veggies were so so. It didnt seem to have msg. Overall the food is very toned down and not as flavorful and maybe because it is to suit the palates of the locals.
