This restaurant has gone way down hill! We had a party of 8 and my mother had a beetle crawl out of her salad and all the manager did was ask if we would like to move to the back. The service continued to be slow and the food tasted as though it had been under a headlamp for quite some time. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Bella’s in South Tampa for about the same price and exceptionally better food and service!
Had the 3 course lunch for $10. The only part worthwhile was the salad, and it’s the same pre-packaged Caesar salad that all the chain restaurants serve. The breaded mozzarella is just a flat, greasy cheestick sitting in marinara. My fettuccine gorgonzola was very disappointing. There was a ton of sauce. The only time I tasted gorgonzola was when I found one small chunk. The pasta was extremely al dente and actually hard to chew at times. My husband said his rigatoni had almost as much tooth as the bread. Neither of us would even finish half of our entrees.
Grandma 39. If we had only had lasagna, we probably would give solid 3 star. However the spaghetti & meatballs had lots of meat but sauce was brown and too strong… And very greasy. Maybe old. The chicken parm was greasy, too. Overall low 3/2 star. Nice to go staff.
Been here a few times and the first 2 visits were good but the last 2 were NOT!! Service was terrible and we were left sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting with servers just walking by not even looking at us, the restaurant was not overly busy so there’s no excuse to not even acknowledge us and I was also 8 months pregnant so needless to say I was alittle hungry.After waiting about 20 – 25 mins we left and will most likely not go back to that location anyways.
Another Mediocre Fake Italian Food Chain. First of all this place has the worst marinara sauce I have ever tasted. My girlfriend said their sauce tastes like Ragu. I argued it taste like Chef Boyardee. However, since the service was good and the atmosphere was relatively nice, I have given this place multiple chances only to be disappointed by subpar bland food. Marsela bad, chicken parm bad, risotto bad, marinara really bad. If you want real Italian food go to a family owned restaurant.
Not much flavor in their marinara which is the key ingredient to any Italian dish… Not sure how this place has an 80% on this site :/
The service was not that good. We were seated in the back by the kitchen and all we kept hearing was how the Cooks were going to try to get into the waitresses pants. NOT COOL WHEN YOU HAVE A 12YR OLD CHILD HEARING THIS!!!!! Poor Management!!!! Dirty mouths!!!
