I don’t normally branch out when it comes to sushi places unless people take me along with them. My date decided to take me here, we didn’t wait that long to get seated and our server was very nice. The taste of my sushi was very fresh and satisfying. I would probably eat here again.

Large Menu and Great Sushi. Small cute place. Menu is pretty large, was surprised on that. Hubby was disappointed that they didn’t have Uni that day, but oh well. I ordered the tempura shrimp to start which came out nice and hot. The veggies served were not traditional veggies served with tempura shrimp but that was great. I ordered the Angel Hair roll, which was very tasty but it was missing something. Bite after bite I finally figured it out. It needed some a contrast of textures or crunch in it. Maybe add an asparagus to it and it would be perfect. The hubby ordered the Volcano Roll and the Twin Salmon rolls. He always orders the Volcano Roll whenever we try a new sushi place, it’s his way of judging the restaurant right away. Everyone has that roll. He was so excited to see the rolls when they came out, great presentation and his first bite you could tell he was happy. He said the Volcano was spot on. The Twin Salmon should be rename to Triple as it has a salmon center, salmon slices laid over the roll and then salmon roe on top of that. We had a pleasant experience and we will be back!

Great Experience. So I visited Shogun Sushi last Saturday and had a great experience there. The service was great and the food was great. I was a little hesitant, because there were not a lot of people there versus Sushi Alive, which usually has a 20-30 minute wait on Saturdays. So this is how I rate the experience:Service: We were quickly seated by the hostess, who was also the server. She was very nice and took our orders very quickly, explaining all the menu options. She was on top of her game, quickly helping us and checking in. Great experience with the service!Food: The sushi was great! Everything looked freshly cut and they had a lot of variety in their rolls, versus some of the other places that have very similar rolls. I had an angel hair roll, which was amazing! The wasabi and ginger was freshly made, so it tasted really good. Love the food.Prices: Prices were good for the regular rolls and about even with the main specialty rolls. Some people say it is pricey, but I would say that the prices are equal to their competition. Quality: Very high qualityOverall: I would highly recommend and come back to this place. I am actually going back for lunch today, so I can’t wait to eat there. This place is a must visit and is one of my favorites already.

Surprisingly amazing. The food was fantastic and the presentation was beautiful. We ordered rolls. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and quick. Excellent place if looking for good sushi. And I’m picky on my sushi!
