The best secret in Tampa. Love the saltado here and the cafe con leche and the tres leches cake and the papas a la huacaina and well…..basically everything. Highly recommended. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so!
Had the paella and it was cooked ok but didn’t have lots of flavor. The ceviche was ok. My wife had a fried fish dish that lacked seasoning. Service was ok but a tad overly intrusive. Nothing horrible but nothing great. Prices were reasonable.
Great little hole in the wall that 95% of Tampa would never find if not for sites like this. If your looking for a quiet date night location for someone that enjoys wine and food that is just off of ordinary, this is your place.Staff is very friendly, last time I dined here I had the special of the night which was seared duck breast paired with risotto. Delicious. Wish that I could make it back more often, but this is a destination that deserves a glass or two or wine with dinner, and I don’t drink when with out with my son.One of my favorite appetizers that they have is the Pulpo al Olivo, grilled octopus with an olive side. Often grilled octopus is so rubbery it cannot be enjoyed, not this.Small, but enjoyable place, best for small groups or couples. Don’t judge by the location, support something other than chains, you’ll be happy you did.
This place is amazing. Try their fried fish, and arroz chiclayana you wont be disappointed. Great lunch specials, great atmosphere, perfect place for a date!

Best find for lunch or dinner. From the outside this caf doesn’t look like much, but what an awesome culinary experience for economical price. Service is great, atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing and menu is extensive. Great for meetings or family.
This hidden gem offers both 5-star service and 5-star food. Amanda was our server, very knowledgeable, personable, and knows her way around a wine list. I had the chorizo and blood sausage appetizer…it was a definite must try. My wife had the mussels, which were surprisingly chilled, but ultimately delicious. For the main course, I had the filet mignon special which was the best steak we’ve had in Tampa, even better than Charley’s! My wife had cilantro infused rice with calamari, octopus, and shrimp which was delicious, and large enough for 2 more meals. Finished off with a salted caramel vanilla cake which is a must have. Always have a cafe con leche after dinner. Reminded me of a cafe in Paris. Overall 5 stars. Will definety return, hopefully with Amanda as our server!
