Awful and expensive. First they offer one wine on their list and deliver another. ( I e the list is private reserve and the deliver generic so it looks the same). I ordered my steak rare it was delivered raw. That ok with me. But the first 1/3rd I couldn’t eat through the gristle. Place is awfull!!!!

Something you have to expierience yourself. I have to say the steak was definetely prepared in a way that was different it came out on a platter all sliced up which at first i thought wow they took half the work out out of it, and that’s they was they explained it called Andre’s way, but what was weird was half the steak was like 1 1/2 inch tall and the rest 1 inch tall as if they took a bone and filled it with some kind of filler not the real porter house as some of it was tender then the other half was so tough you could barely swallow it, so something was definetly up there, but it did have flavor bot the strongest flavor was butter as they poor butter on it before the cook it for you so it’s like a big old butter steak. As a man that knows his cuts of beef if you want my opinion this is not a real porter house,as for one all the beef on the plate would be the same size as the cut, but it look liked they inserted cuts to make it appear bigger, the problem was what they inserted was not nearly the same beef ,the we had !the Germain fried potato platter and I swear it looked like they took a bag of cheap french fries and chopped them up added onion and you were basically eating a 11.00 plate of chopped french fries ,pawned off as this big fancy potato platter but missing the potatoes ? they were soy fries cut up and broiled period ,I was astonished when I seen them and when you go in check it out for your self and tell me I’m not on my game, Now the wait staff was excellent but the food just didn’t match up, to many cheap shortcuts for the money being charged I can get a better cut at Costco. Andre himself was there but i have to say he reminds me of a is he was so full of himself ,car sales man would put it nicely,as I was not fooled by any of his food con’s,Now I ate in the bar with a friend and evertime he left the bar for the kitchen I guess he was complaining about who was sitting in his bar ,,he would actually be dogging half the customers in the bar and we could hear every word,it’s like dude if your that miserble you should be at micky des making foo foo’s with the shake machine least you get to drive away from this guyhe was downright rude and thought he owned the returaunt, but who knows mabey he did, I can only sau I don’t care who’s had dinner this joint is was a terrible knock off of peter lugers, and probably the nastiest place I have eaten in some time waiters stick there hands in 10 dierts glasses and come right back with a fresh wine with all the crap on there hands they just picked up,as we had had dinner in the dinning room and the bar and you can see cob webs all over the lights and dust that I’m sure falls in your food every where, and forget about the bathrooms your lucks if you can find toilet paper it’s liable to be banana leaves under th sink,so if you do believe this review ,just go in and try it for your self you will astonished

After having the best steak I ever had a week ago, I unfortunately left my debit card in the checkholder and were flying out early next day. Called Andre and he happily said he would mail it to me. He didn’t make a fuss or charge me the postage. You’re a great person Andre and make a damn good steak. World could use more folks like you!08 Jul, 2012As most others said, you might second guess yourself from outside or the decor but fear not. This place is indeed all about the service and food. I have to agree, this may be best steak I ever had, and I’m a heavy business traveler and have been to many a premiere steakhouse. It’s not downtown Chicago Chophouse romance but beef is killer. Talked to mgr and he said chef was at Peter Lugers in NYC 10 yrs and brought concept here. Reco porterhouse for 2 and gaurantee you won’t be disappointed if you’re a beef connoisseur. Loved it!

No Fooling, THE best steak!. I thought I knew what steak tasted like. Of course, been to the chains like Ruth’s Chris and Morton’s, and some of the best local places, BUT this steak was absolutely perfect. My husband and I shared the Porterhouse, we usually do at other places, so expecting about the same portion. No, much thicker, bigger. Could barely eat it all. They can cook the parts at different temps, so I had the filet side med rare and he had it medium on the strip side. The waiter was great in setting expectations. Louis said the medium rare is more red than most I’ve probably seen. I still went with it. It was redder than most I’ve had, but it was not raw, it was perfect. I literally could have cut it with a fork. The way they age the beef, there’s no reason to try to spice it up or butter it up like other places do. They cut it off the bone for you, service was great.I was worried when we walked in because the ambiance was not quite what I would expect for a pricey place. But it became it’s character and was very relaxing. With the porterhouse, we also split a huge baked potato, side of mushrooms, and oh! the house salad, forgot to mention that gem! What a great change from the usual, with ham, shrimp and special sauce, it was wonderful. We split that too. Each had a glass of red wine. Total came to $119, before tip. Wish we had one in Jacksonville!
