Restaurant Review; Barbatella, 1290 3rd Street, South Naples; 24 December 2018; my ranking 2.5/5: Overall, very disappointing. Not a very extensive or interesting lunch menu. Service good, table outside by street was nice, restaurant was not very busy even in high season (bad sign). Quality, quantity, originality, and food flavors were poor. Also, too expensive. Not recommended.
We waited for an hour and a half past our reservation time and we finally left- very rude hostesses and even waited about 30 minutes at the bar and the 2 bartenders never made eye contact. I’m guessing they are proud of their food??

We did the summer lunch special at the bar. Great food, large portions, and a glass of wine included. What could be better than that?
Had the pescadore pizza. Over garliced. Shell still on mussel. There are much better Italian themed places in Naples.
