Didn’t live up to expectations. Once past the splendid house wines, it was a downhill journey except for the goat cheese salad. Our party of three shared two appetizers, three disappointing entrees, and two deserts for $200. Meat lasagna was swimming in grease that overpowered any favors trying to emerge from the variety of meats. The shrimp on spaghetti squash and seafood special with tagliatelle both lacked pizzaz. Service is great but presentation dressed up what we found tonight, at least,to be quite ordinary fare that appeared sensational but tasted quite bland.
I have driven by this place for years and finally gave it a try. I noticed right away prices were a little less than 5th ave Italian places. Nice ambiance, good wine list. Owner was very active and service was great. Food was excellent. Defiantly on the list of go-to places. I’ve got to try more offerings. Can’t wait to go back!
Fabulous! Off beaten path. Food every bit as good as Tuscany! Owner made rounds to each table. Nice, reasonable wine selection. Everything from wine to dessert was fabulous! A must while in Naples!
Romantic and delicious!. While vacationing in Naples, we chose this restaurant for our 25th anniversary. And it was the perfect choice! We were welcomed by the owner and escorted to a special table where they had placed roses and a card they made especially for us! It was so sweet. We had the spinach dumpling appetizer, Caprese salad, lasagne bolognese, and white truffle sacchettini. For dessert a wonderful flourless chocolate cake with homemade semifreddo. All were exquisite. Best meal we had in Naples and best in a long time.
Authentic Italian food with great service.. My husband and I went here for dinner. He had Lobster ravioli which was rich, full of flavor and yet very light. I had the pesto and it was the perfect balance of basil and nut. We had the spinach delizie as an appetizer and it had a great creamy flavor and texture. The lemon zest added the perfect flavor compliment. the meringue for dessert was wonderful as were the drinks. The staff was extremely helpful and offered great wine pairing suggestions. It was the best meal we had on our vacation in Naples!
Best Italian in Naples. Pretty setting, but most importantly, excellent food. Lasagne alla Bolognese was magical, and the wine the server recommended complemented it perfectly. Save room for dessert, the chocolate cake with coconut semifreddo was to die for.
Very nice, casual dining, priced mid 20’s. No group complaints on any dishes other than the shrimp, arguments being too much wine, and those who ate it all shared a mutual feeling. There was one issue with the lasagna, an order mess-up, and was the sausage ala fennel. If you order the lasagna, make sure it has noodles and tastes like beef, not a soupy pile of groul
