A good choice. I was there in April with my son and tonight went with my wife and daughter. We ate outside and the food was very good again. The waitress suggested we drink the house wine as they provide free refills and she made a good call as the wine was perfectly drinkable. A nice spot and definitely worth a visitBill11 Apr, 2012April 9 2012. I had been to D’Amico once before and had wanted to return as I enjoyed the previous experience. I took my son and we had a lovely meal. Nice service and the shrimp and asparagus risotto that I had was outstanding. It was nice to eat at a lower key restaurant (just walk ins allowed) with great food and offering good value for the quality of food produced.

The worst spaghetti Alfredo of my life, Do you want bread sir? Yes, there you go 2 tinny slices, I’m never coming back.

Some good some bad. Last night we ordered takeout. The quality of the food was very good, fresh ingredients. We had the meatball appetizer to start. The flavor was good, not great but a solid italian meatball, but the portion size was TINY,three small meatballs for $7.99, really? My shrimp and asparagus risotto was creamy and delicious. I am a risotto lover, I almost did not get it as I was worried with takeout if it would be dry and stale tasting. Quite the contrary, this was some of the best risotto I have ordered the rice was firm , the shimp tasted fresh caught and were also well prepared not mushy, the aparagus had a little cruch to it, yummmm. Totally worth the price and calories. My husbands dish on the other hand was egg parpadelle with a veal and beef bolognese, was bland. The noodles were fresh and obviously homeade and had a nice taste, but the sauce almost had no flavor. Very dissapointing. For the overall price and all the great italian restaurants in Naples I am on the fence if we will be back.

Impressive. Just moved here. Wanted some italian comfort food-I’m not talking baked ziti (although I have been known to devour it on occassion). Great ciabatta bread served with good parm and great evo…always a good sign. Pizza was good, pork was great, papparadelle simple and delicious. Finished with great espresso and tiramisu…eaten here three times in the past two weeks. Have paid easily three times as much for mediocrity in Naples-thank you D’Amico and Sons for providing excellence in service and cuisine and for being what you are…nothing more nothing less. P.S. House wine refills AWESOME
