Awful! My husband and I got orange chicken and general tso chicken, and it was the worst we’ve ever had. They almost tasted the same, like chicken heated up in the microwave with a nasty sauce on it. The chicken was chewy and the sauce was incredibly bland with a strange, almost chemically taste to it. We didn’t even take leftovers home after spending $27 there with the tip. There staff was also unfriendly. Don’t waste your money here!

I had all but given up on Chinese take home, until last week when my husband brought home a Po-Po-Platter and fried rice from Empire China. The selection of Po-Po was beef teriyaki, pork ribs, both chicken thighs and wings; fried dumpling, shrimp, and egg rolls – which heated up nice in the microwave. The Pork fried rice was NOT in the least bit greasy, and full of vegetables. More importantly, not salty/or overspiced. I am done with searching out Chinese take-out… period. Empire China is my first choice!

Very close to classic NYC takeout. I’ve enjoyed the food at Empire China every time I visit. I found the fried rice and lo mein to be reminiscent of the Chinese takeout I get in New York and Connecticut. It is one of the few Chinese restaurants in town where I have taken many different groups of people and everyone loved their food.The only issue this restaurant suffers from is inconsistent service. Most of the time you get a great server. There has been more than one occasion where I my server was visibly disgruntled. However, the orders have always been correct. Lastly, the management is very nice and the food is very good. I would recommend this restaurant to any diner looking for a casual but tasty American-Chinese experience.
Empire China. I was not impressed with the food at the Emire China Restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken was a little greasy. Service was o.k., but would not recommentd
