Have had several dining experiences on 5th ave and by far, La Bazenne is the best. From New Orleans and have traveled the world including France and the cuisine was elegant, delicately rich with bold flavor. Try it while you can because this Chef is rising to the top! While the portion sizes were small, the quality of the food was outstanding. We dine in Old Naples quite often when in town and decided to try something new. We were in for a jewel of a treat. The scallops were succulent and cook to perfection in a wonderful saffron broth. My husband tried the triple tail fish which was flavorful, crisp edges but extremely moist. The crepes were light with a wonderful grand manier sauce.Excellent and cannot wait to return!

Terrible Experience. This restaurant should not have been open the day we went. Chef was taking with someone in the a/c area for an hour, owner was laughing in the a/c area, 12 people left while we were there, I had to go to the counter twice to ask for our food. I do not work at other restaurants and I am not a bafoon, just an unhappy party who was not treated properly or served quality food but was charged accordingly.

I am certain the other reviews are fake. I only live part time in Naples (for work only and not by choice, I can promise you that), I am not involved in restaurants, and have no business and/or other incentive to write a review except give an honest opinion and I can ensure that the buffoons who wrote the earlier entries are either managers or owners of other restaurants in Naples and they’re most likely very worried about this new restaurant. La Bazenee is without any doubt the highest quality eating establishment on 5th Avenue, for the most part this wouldn’t mean much, since most restaurants on fifth avenue in this backwater town (that pretends to be sophisticated) aren’t worth a damn, they care nothing about the food and make their money off alcohol, the location and the fact that most of their clientele are too old to have any significant number of taste buds left and the few they have are for the most part accustomed to that garbage that’s masquerading as food in the Midwest. I was hesitant to even set foot in this place at first, mostly because of it’s 5th Avenue location and the awful (with a couple of very few exceptions) restaurants that occupy this street. La Bazenne is good enough to survive in Paris. In Paris it probably would be an upper end of average kind of a place, but in the US and particularly in South West Florida it’s the best of the best, the attention to detail is wonderful, all the ingredients are natural, nothing is processed and the presentation is outstanding! I could’t recommend this place more strongly!

5th avenue business owner. Terrible food. Slow service. Disorganized. Awful experience. There are many other restaurants to eat at on 5th avenue. I would suggest trying any restaurant other than this restaurant.

Not a good experience. Ignored for 15 minutes after being seated. We got up and told hostess we were leaving because no one had paid any attention to us. Got no response.
