RUDE CRUDE INEDIBLE FOOD AND A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!. RUDE CRUDE UNEDIBLE AND A WASTE OF MONEY!!!! This place is terrible. The small dining areas they have are crowded with way too many tables crammed in. We were seated nearly ontop of another table extremely uncomfortable for us and the table next to us. We requested a different table with more breathing space, and were seated at a table right at the front door where no table should be placed due to customer and wait staff traffic. The waitress was loud rude and obnoxious, she interrupted our conversation by speaking very loudly over us to get her point across and interrupting us. How Rude!!! The food was awful. My food was inedible due to too much salt; both dishes I ordered were way too salty this was the problem with every dish served to our table that evening. When the waitress asked why I had not eaten my food I informed her that the food was way too salty to eat, she merely removed my plates. I was never offered an alternative or apology and they never addressed the problem. This is the worst tourist trap in Naples. I have live in Naples for 15 years and eat out regularly and as an international businessman I travel and eat out a lot, and this is probably the worst food, service and ambiance I have ever experienced. Only way to describe this awful experience is that it was RUDE CRUDE UNEDIBLE AND A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
Mediocre food, horrible service. Plus they add on 20% gratuity to any ticket – server deserved 10% at best. Will not be returning
Tooting their Horn!. I won’t be specific to the food, but everything we were served was fantastic. The service was close to perfect, the ambience – really nice. The convenience – great. I just wish I weren’t from out of town, ’cause we’d be there very often! Love the place, and highly recommend it! Bon apptit!
Must return. Our first visit to this cafe was a pleasant surprise. The place was packed and I understand why. All three entrees at our table were great. The main thing is the great value. They provide a free bottle of wine with every two entrees, and the wine was perfectly acceptable. For three diners the bill was $68. With wine. Good food. Fun atmosphere. How can you go wrong?
Great food in atmosphere with too many tables and too much noise. A good meal spoiled by their design.
Grat deal! Very good place, excellent service, we had a great time at the Mangrove Cafe! The food was outstanding, classy, and very well prepared and presented. If i am ever in Naples again, i will definitely come back to this place.
