Pinchers crab claw appetizer was awesome . Clam chowder awesome. Soft shell crab sandwich was awesome. Thank you for great meal and service . I will be back again. Went back for another visit 2 years later and another great meal . Happy hour garlic wings, oysters, 2 for one beer. Great got the crab pinchers again as well . Great spot after chilling on the beach for a few hours. Thanks again
Pinchers doesn’t deserve the bad reviews it gets. The food was good, our server was great (Celeste), and the food came out at a reasonable pace. It was very fun place to eat right by the water.
Food was ok. Nothing special. I had shrimp tacos They were so spicy I almost couldn’t eat them. Hubby had grilled grouper said it was fine. World famous French fries were very greasy. Prices ok atmosphere great. Service was awful. Sat at the bar & were totally ignored for at least 20 min. 1 of the tenders was just about rude. Place isn’t even busy. Will we come back?? Doubtful
Food was spoiled!. When our seafood came it was actually spoiled! It actually stunk on the table! So Gross!!
Real Deal Maryland style blue crabs!. My wife and I are from Maryland and we live in Marco Island 1/2 the year. We have been missing hot crabs and cold beer. Pinchers has awesome steamed blue crabs, spiced the way crabs are cooked in Maryland. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
We love this place!. I don’t know what kind of upscale dining other reviewers were looking for, but we grew up on the beach and LOVE places like this, with authentic seafood. Their Dungeness crab is a family fave, my mom adores the coconut shrimp and we adore the atmosphere. On busy nights a waiter will come outside to folks in line and take drink orders. Happy hour is 2-for-1, and pounding a couple of Chardonnays before dinner makes waiting for this fun place even more tolerable!
Honestly do not recommend. Food is really overpriced…. I would rather buy a hotdog from the nearest Seven Eleven! Floor is dirty, and the customer satisfaction is beyond terrible, we never got checked upon the whole time we were there.. Not even for a refill. I will not be returning anytime soon. No go.
