My husbands swordfish ($31) wasnt blackened as ordered but was still delicious. I ordered the lamb chop dinner with mushroom risotto and grilled asparagus ($30). Very good. Both of our dinners were good sized portions and we left very full. Good service.

I came for a 14 course tasting menu and had a fantastic time! Organized by Meet & Eat SWFL – I would estimate around 70 or so foodies tried a good portion of the menu at Bill’s Steak and Seafood:1. New England Clam Chowder with Petite Clam CakeGood, nice and creamy; but one really, really chewy clam.2. Shrimp & Crab Egg RollSpicy, good – not something I would have necessarily ordered. So nice to try something new.3. Ahi Tuna AppetizerInteresting. Seaweed and soy! Loved the wasabi aioli4. Crab Cake & Stuffie (Stuffed Quahog Clam)Loved the cake, I have had better stuffies in New England.5. Lobster Avocado SaladLoved this, nice and creamy. I could have done without the avocado, I would definitely order this off the menu.6. Shrimp Scampi FlatbreadNo. I thought seafood with cheese was verboten. Although I ate it, I picked the shrimp off, but I ate it.7. St. George Chili Vodka Signature Bloody Mary ShooterSpicy Mama!8. Sea Scallop wrapped in Jalapeno Bacon sever over mango salsaBacon! I could have eaten more than just one. Loved the mango salsa!!9. Fresh Ground Angus BurgerNicely done to medium, but all I could taste was pepper.10. Grilled New England Swordfish with Green Bean MedleyI was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this.11. Tomahawk Rib Eye SteakThis was probably my favorite over all. The original dish is 32oz so think Flintstone Steak and you’ll have the mental picture! Or look below at my pictures!12. Fried Seafood PlatterAt this point we were on overload. I tasted the fish, shrimp and attempted a clam. Good, but not great – again we were on overload at this point.13. New England Style Clam BakeI repeat we were on overload at this point but this was bland and overdone. I tried a steamer and a pei mussel but had no butter to dip them in. The potatoes were done to the point of mush. Sadly my favorites of this dish was the corn on the cob and the hot dog. Eep!14. Mitch’s Chocolate Chip Cookie CakeThank goodness they gave us containers and let us take them home!It was a fantastic experience and the waitstaff was very attentive. As a bonus Chef Art Smith was in attendance for part of the tasting.

The Salmon & Swordfish and Grilled Swordfish dishes were very good as was the Lobster Bisque. Service was good and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. We are locals so we will return. Note: Live easy listening music at dinner time.

I had the scallops and my wife had the grilled salmon and both were excellent. Service was great and fast. You have got to eat here. Beth our waitress was wonderful.
