Typical BBQ menu and atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor seating. Happy hour Stella draft beer was 2 for 1 ($6.50 for 2) but they were small so werent an outstanding deal. We had a 3 meat stew and a white chowder with meat, ale and cheese. Both very good. Baby back ribs were good – not the best or the meatiest Ive had but good enough to order again. We enjoyed the spicy sauce. Our sides – cornbread, cole slaw, baked beans and baked potato were adequate.
Great service, good food. Did not have Bombay gin but improvised with Beefeater and it was good. Server Jenna was nice the manager came around to ask if everything was ok….nice family spot for some good bbq. I would visit again
Only game in town for TEXAS BBQ. I gave it 4 stars but it only deserves 3.5. I will talk about the good stuff first. The beef brisket was extremely lean, tasty and able to slice with a fork. The 2 only bbq sauce were delish and flavorable….. ribs fall off the bone good.Ahhh now the minus section. 30 miles from Cape Coral. Not really worth the trip.Toast is NOT Texas size. Collard green & Cole slaw taste like every other place. Potatoe salad so-so. Same as Mac & cheese. Portions were not impressive.I guess I am spoiled from eating in mom & pop places. Plain paper plates, just white bread, loads of meat, with choice of 3 sauces mild to wild, sweet/heat. ..cornbread plus sides.Well this is a chain… so once it goes into a chain mode; portion and quality , flavor goes out the door as fair as the original place. If I am the area I will eat here again.. BUT that because there is no other Texas style BBQ in SWFL. AH what a shame 🙁
